Week of April 24, 2015

     This week we rushed to finish up our project which was due on the 20th. On Monday we made sure everything was good, our group stayed in lunch to finish up the bloopers and credits needed left for the film. On Monday, we were ready to save our COMPLETED film and then iMovie decided to shut down. I assumed everything was ok, possibly only the credits got erased which was fine because it wasn't to hard to re-do. But then, coming to class Tuesday, we opened our film and our ENTIRE film got erased. Everything erased EXCEPT the credits, which was very frustrating for our group. It took us two days to recover most of our clips, but we did have to restart cutting and editing. For sake of time, we cut out some unneeded clips that would minimize the time we had left to submit it. We were able to complete our film once again much quicker because we had an idea on where everything went and basically that was our whole week of frustration and relief. 

Week of April 17, 2015

     This week we were able to finish all scenes needed for the film to be complete. We spent the week editing and adding any extra corrections. We finished adding music, now we only need to finish the translations from Spanish to English and we are trying to have a few seconds of bloopers for the crowd to enjoy. Our video is coming out rather nice and I am proud of the work we have completed. By the end of this week we will be making sure our film is ready to be submitted because we want the crowd to be able to enjoy watching our film. This whole week, we reviewed our film several times to make sure everything looks nice and is just the way we want it to be.

Week of April 10, 2015

     This past weekend I took the camera home and recorded my sister and her husband as a part of our film. Throughout the week our group imported and edited our film as we are almost done with it. So far we have three guests we interviewed and we need only about one more couple. Our interview is looking good, we hope to edit it a bit more so we can add any extra details and take out any mistakes. This week we worked mostly on editing and adding music to our film. By the end of the week we had three couples done and only needed music added to the last one. As soon as the other group member takes the camera home and records her grandparents, with a little editing we will have completed our interview film. 

Week of April 3, 2015

     This week we worked on importing all videos shot over the past few weeks and tried to organize all clips. Our group is focusing on finding good music to put in the background of our interview, so far we've found two. I am focusing on editing the clips, cutting them and placing them where they belong, we have one scene completed, and we're almost done with the second one. The film is coming out very nice and I think that towards the end of this film it will come out very nice. Our ideas are coming to reality way better than we were expecting. Im proud of the work we have up to date and my group is doing a great job helping come together nicely.
